Jamie Lynn Spears Moving In With Britney?
March 13, 2010 by admin
“Is Jamie Lynn Spears Moving In To Big Sis Britney’s LA Pad?” asks HollywoodLife, which often never knows the answers.
Picking up on an old and wrong story from the National Enquirer – that Gossip Cop busted a few days ago – HollywoodLife reports that Britney Spears’ mom, “Lynne Spears is reportedly so unhappy that her youngest daughter is dating 28-year-old businessman James Watson that she’s packing her up and shipping her off to live with big sis Britney in Los Angeles!”
The accuracy-challenged blog simply regurgitates quotes from a so-called National Enquirer “source,” who also claims the move is because “Lynne wants to see her daughter get back into show business.”
And while HollywoodLife pulled a Perez by cutting-and-pasting another media outlet’s story without fact-checking it, Gossip Cop reached out to a friend of the Spears family, who says tales of Jamie Lynn permanently moving into Britney’s L.A. home are just “not true.”
Once again, Gossip Cop is unmoved by HollywoodLife’s (lack of) reporting.

An Honest Mover!
March 8, 2010 by admin
You know I love it when I am looking at other movers and I find a completely honest mover. Believe it or not, this is sometimes a rarity. But, today in looking through Craigslist I found a co0mpletely honest mover…
Okay, actually he is not a mover but a moving laborer (he does say he works for a moving company.) Still, it is refreshing to see this on Craigslist. While there are many movers that advertise there that are honest the number that are dishonest far exceeds our small click.
Anyway, here is Bill’s ad that he posted in the Battle Creek Craigslist:
Are you looking to move. Let me Help you with that. Loading / Unloading / Packing I can handle it
PACKING SERVICES…….WHAT A PAIN….. LET ME DO THE PACKING FOR YOU……… I DO NOT UNPACK THOUGH
I currently work for a moving company which I can not disclose on here but I definately [sic] know what im doing
YOU SUPPLY THE U-HAUL AND I WILL TAKE CARE OF THE HARD PART
I am willing to drive the truck for you but i will not be renting them for you
Maybe you only have a couple of items and maybe its a whole house. Either way is fine.My Rates:
$75.00 per hour with a 2 hour minimum
$25.00 traveling and fuel charge
EMAIL TODAY
I am uninsured so i cant offer coverage on the items but i will do everything in my power to keep you and your articles safe and happy.
SEND ME AN EMAIL OF WHAT YOU NEED MOVED AND I WILL EMAIL YOU A QUOTE BACK
TO MUCH TO LIST….. I OFFER FREE ON-SITE SERVICES- JUST SHOOT ME AN EMAIL — MY NAME IS BILL
I can forgive the grammatical errors for the fact of his complete honesty.
I do think his rates are a bit high for just a laborer, but heck, if he gets the business then more power to him. I love the fact that he comes right out and tells you that he is NOT insured. Some many would have not done this.
Although he refuses to tell what moving company he works with I would hazard a guess to say it is Greater Michigan Movers as they are the only one is Battle Creek. (If I am right Bill I promise I won’t tell Mike.)
Just thought I would write and talk about this.

Announcing U-Save Moving’s New WorldWide Moving Services!
In another step forward for U-Save Moving we have now partnered up with company that can transport your household possessions all across the country and across the world. No longer is U-Save Moving regulated to just intrastate moving. With our new partners I can offer you a full service moving experience for a lot less than you would get with regular van liners like Mayflower, Allied, United or Bekins.
This full door to door service like never before. And we can even move your vehicles as well!
Need to move from one state to another but are tired of being quoted $5000, $6000 or more, well now U-Save Moving can offer the same service for far lower rates. And this is full service at its best. You get a team of guys to load up the truck, it driven to your location, and then unloaded into your new home. You’ll never have to lift a finger.
Let give you some comparisons:
- Lansing, MI to Austin, TX: $2550 to $2725 add $1400 to move your vehicle.
- Lansing, MI to Los Angeles, CA: $3200 to $3500 add $1700 to move your vehicle.
There is just a couple of examples of the costs. Now compare that to your other movers. These are flat rate, binding estimates as well. Meaning that these prices WILL NOT change no matter what, and they include everything. Labor, Insurance, fuel, blankets and straps, tie downs and tools. These prices don’t include packing so if you want those services you’ll need to call us for rates.
And we are not limited to Just moving to or from Michigan. If you need to move from California to Florida or Alaska to Texas we can help with that as well.
Just give us a call or contact by using the form below.
Thank you.

Tips For Getting Accurate Moving Quotes From Reliable Movers
February 13, 2010 by admin

Here is another great article I came across about getting accurate quotes from reliable movers. It is good read. I hope you like it.
4 Tips For Getting Accurate Quotes From Reliable Movers
By Maureen RomensyaWhen looking for reliable movers to hire it can be hard to decide which ones would be the best choice. That is why getting quotes from reliable movers is so essential. Before getting the quotes there are some important tips that will help you get the most accurate quote possible.
Here are the tips that you want to remember and use so that you end up with as accurate of a quote as you can.
1. Plan – When you are going to be making a move it is important that you take time to plan ahead. Planning ahead will help you get a more accurate quote.
You want to know exactly what items will be going with you and what won’t. Along with what services will be needed from the company such as packing.
By knowing ahead of time what you want and planning things then you will definitely have a much higher chance of getting the most accurate quote from reliable movers.
2. Compare – There are so many different moving companies available these days and trying to find the best one to hire can be hard to do. By taking time to get a free quote from each moving company that you are interested in you will be able to make a more informed decision.
Comparing quotes from moving companies is important because the companies are similar but not the same exactly. This means that their estimates will be just a little bit different in different ways.
By comparing the quotes you can see what they are offering you and for what price. This will help you choose the company that is within your budget so you don’t spend more money than you can afford to.
3. Ask questions – Don’t be afraid to ask questions of any moving company about the quotes. If you have questions you have to get them answered before making your final decision. This will help to ensure you are choosing the best company for your move and for the price you can afford.
4. Take your time – Always give yourself plenty of time to do your research on the companies and to get quotes. The more time you can give yourself the more informed decision you can make because you will be able to gather important information that will make it much easier.
These tips will definitely help anyone get the best price on your quote if you remember them and use them. If you don’t use them then be prepared when you end up paying more money later because you didn’t take time to ensure accurate quotes from reliable movers.
Maureen Romensya invites you to visit her moving website to receive moving quotes and moving estimates on your next move. Compare quotes from reliable movers and pick the best moving company based on services & price. When moving companies compete you save up to 35%.

Moving: How To Speed Up And Save Money
December 4, 2008 by jburnham
At Professional Moving, like most small moving companies, we usually charge by the hour for the moves. This can get quite expensive for a homeowner if the move goes six, seven, eight or more hours. And unfortunately many companies hire just any Joe off the street and pay them by the hour. So let me ask you this: If you were getting paid by the hour, would you work at a fast pace? Most likely not.
Hourly workers have the attitude that they are paid by the hour so they are not going to move fast; and many companies have that same attitude. This ends up costing you a lot more money than you need to be paying.
So how can you speed up your move and save a lot of money? Easy and I’ll lay out the steps for you:
I can’t tell you how many times I have walked into a home to move and the homeowners were not even packed and ready for the move even though the move was booked weeks before. Want to add time to your move? Don’t have your stuff packed and ready to go.
Another time thief is if you don’t have your belongings packed correctly or in the right boxes. I have seen many times when I walk into a home and their stuff is packed in boxes without tops, or the boxes are falling apart, etc.
By not having your belongings packed and packed correctly will add a lot of time into a move. If you don’t wish to pack, then ask the mover to do it for you. This will be an added expense but it will speed up the move itself.
Stairs:
Stairs can add a lot of time to the move. So when moving if you could move all the lighter, easier furniture and boxes to the main floor and to one location would save a lot of time. More time could be saved if you could, if you have the ability, to move all the furniture and appliances to the main floor; preferrably to one location like the livingroom.
When moving into a new home, if you had the movers just move stuff into one location this would save you a lot of time. Of course with heavy furniture and boxes this may not be practical.
So in the end, you could save a lot of time and money if everything was in one location to move from and put into one location to move into.
Furniture Assembly/Dissembley:
Assembly and dissembley of furniture adds a lot of time to a move. If you are having your movers take things apart like beds, and unhook appliances like washers, dryers and refrigerators and then reassemble them at the new home this takes a lot of time. By unhooking appliances and dissembling beds and furniture yourself you would save a lot of time. Again it really depends on your ability here to do this labor.
Also, if movers have to take off doors and rehang them, and other household parts, adds time to the move as well. Do this yourself to save time. But if you can’t then you need to know that it will add time to your move.
Seasons:
Seasons can add to your moving time. If you live in an area that snows a lot in the winter know that driving and loading/unloading of the truck is going to be longer than normal. Slippery roads and slippery sidewalks have to be taken slower so that your furniture and health and welfare of the movers are accounted. By salting and shoveling driveways and sidewalks before a mover arrives will go a long way to speeding up your move, as well as protecting the movers and your furniture.
And not just the snow can cause trouble. Heavy rain areas can cause just the same amount of delay as anything. Obviously you cannot predict the weather for your move day but you can make sure that you are prepared so that the moves are quicker and safer.
Traffic:
The longer the distance between one home to the other can also legthen a move time frame. Obviously if you are moving 30 minutes away that thirty minutes is already accounted for, but what happens if the moving truck is delayed because of a traffic accident, or road construction, etc. You should know and have an alternate road plan in case of such things to give to your movers. By having this plan and following it moves can be quicker and stressfree.
I came about knowing these little tricks and tips the hard way. When I first started my moving business I didn’t inform my customers of this because, for me, it was something I already knew, but you the customers, don’t necessarily know these things. So when the estimated time was 4 hours and turns out to be eight hours you now know the reason.
So use this article for your moves and you’ll save time and money with your next move. Many movers won’t tell you this because it is just “common sense” to them and they don’t think of it. Then there are the scam artists out there that use this to their advantage. But now you know…
Good luck. Have fun and be safe.
